Note: For now, we've moved to a new AMA format: instead of answering as many questions as we can at a one-hour event, we're going to answer all of them by text in document form instead. This will allow us to answer as many of your questions as possible, while also making the answers more succinct than in the AMA transcripts we've produced in the past. Where does the development of the platform currently stand?

We’re aggressively building on our roadmap and expanding our ecosystem to bring Space and Time to new chains and projects. Currently, we’re building toward:

• New cloud marketplace deployments

• Indexing new chains

• General availability of the SxT data warehouse

• Onboarding node operators

• Connecting Proof of SQL to other databases

When will Space and Time begin onboarding node operators? When will we know more about the technical requirements for operating a SxT node?

We’re planning to begin onboarding node operators onto Space and Time in the first half of next year. We’ll share the technical requirements with the community ahead of community onboarding.

How is the Space and Time platform powering Web3 gaming on Sui? Did the announcement refer to all gaming on Sui, or just AbyssWorld?

The Sui ecosystem is integrating the Space and Time verifiable compute layer to make the Space and Time data warehouse, Proof of SQL, our ZK-indexed data, and other Space and Time services available to game developers on Sui. This includes some of the biggest gaming studios on Sui, such as Abyss World.

Can you tell us any more about a potential Space and Time token? When might one be released? What would the tokenomics look like?

While we’d love to launch a token and hope to do so in the future, we have no certain plans in the works at this moment. We’ll share the tokenomics plan with the community if/when such a plan should be finalized.

In terms of tokenization, is SxT prepared for a scenario in which the SEC declares tokens to be a type of security?

We’re closely monitoring market and regulatory conditions, including future SEC rulings, that will influence our decision on if/when to launch a token.

How will the platform function without a token?

We currently accept payments for SxT compute by credit card. We’re building out support for on-chain payments using tokens such as ETH and USDC.

What steps will the project take to increase individual user adoption of the platform?

We’re currently working on building a developer community around Space and Time. We’re planning to onboard some developer advocates who’ll build on the platform to showcase what Space and Time can offer to developers! We’re also planning to provide some SxT-specific hackathons next year.

How does Space and Time ensure data security and how prevent interruptions to data access on the platform?

We encrypt private data in-use, at-rest, and in-database for optimal security. We’ve partnered with leading security platform Sotero to ensure that data is always secure. You can learn more on this subject in our blog about SxT’s end-to-end-encryption solution. Additionally, we have next-generation Web3 role-based access controls for tables; consider checking out the page about this in the docs.

In terms of preventing interruptions to data access, we have a high-availability fallback system which ensures that data is never lost, even in the event that one of the nodes in the network goes down.

What can be done so that the community can follow the direction of the project more closely? Many users are interested but don’t know how to follow developments. We’re also going to be focusing in the future on giving more contextualized development updates thanks to questions such as this one!

Is SxT currently working with any AAA games? If so, can you tell us about some of them?

Yes, Space and Time is working with AAA gaming studios! We look forward to sharing more about the studios and our partnerships soon.

It’s difficult for the average user who isn’t a developer to make use of the platform at this point. Are there any plans to change this?

We’re continuing to build out Houston, our AI-powered natural-language chatbot. Space and Time users will ultimately be able to effortlessly browse blockchain data, build data pipelines, and construct custom dashboards freely through the use of natural-language inputs and without any need for knowledge of SQL.

We’ve recently seen SxT’s integrations with Sui, Sei, and BigQuery. What sorts of partnerships is Space and Time targeting for the future?

We’re always looking to work with more blockchain ecosystems, DeFi protocols, Web3 games, and Web3 infrastructure projects to expand our community deeper into the Web3 ecosystem. We’ll continue to be aggressive in our pursuit of additional partnerships.

Has there been any consideration of collaborating with some of the Web3 community to raise more awareness during the promotion phase?

We’re currently planning out the launch of a developer advocate and community ambassador program. As we’ve mentioned, the task of the developer advocates will be to build on Space and Time and share their creations. The community ambassador program will help spread the word about Space and Time via social media and personal networks.

What are the plans to expand blockchain indexing to additional chains?

We’re always working to expand to new chains! We’re targeting some of the most popular chains in Web3 right now, and we’d love your feedback about the chains you’d like to see added.

As more and more users utilize the platform, how will Space and Time scale to ensure that query times remain quick?

Because Space and Time is a decentralized network, scaling to accommodate greater demands is as simple as opening additional nodes. Space and Time already scales to tens of terabytes and thousands of concurrent queries and requests.

What hopes do the project’s partners have for the future of Space and Time?

Our partners hope that Space and Time will contribute to the prosperity, reach, and empowerment of the Web3 ecosystem. We’re building the verifiable compute layer for Web3, and it’s going to dramatically expand the scope of Web3 use cases for both our partners and the space as a whole.

Are there plans for NFT empowerment of the Community NFT series down the line?

As we’ve noted, we do not plan to add any utility to the Space and Time Community NFTs. These NFTs are intended solely as a token of our appreciation to you, the Space and Time community.

Will there be a fifth release of the Community NFTs? If so, will there be any additional reward for those who have all five NFTs in the series?

We plan on releasing the fifth and final edition of the Community NFTs in early 2024. Ownership of all five NFTs in the series will not provide additional benefits.
